ART GALLERIES IN AND AROUND LYME REGIS DORSET UK

Visitors will come across many potential artists sat in front of their easels, especially around the cobb harbour and on the undercliff.
James Whistler, the famous American artist also had connections with the town. He visited Lyme Regis in the summer of 1895 at the age of 61 years and painted two of his finest portraits, ‘The Master-Smith of Lyme Regis’ and ‘The Little Rose of Lyme Regis’.
