Lyme Regis Jazz Festival 2012

The sun looks set to shine on this year’s fantastic jazz, blues and beer festival in Lyme Regis.

The Festival begins on Friday 25 May with the amazing Louis Armstrong All Stars Tribute Band at the Marine Theatre and carries on until King Pleasure and the Biscuit Boys bring things to a rousing crescendo on Sunday evening. Over 16 different bands are playing across five venues around town all weekend long.

The weekend also features the family friendly Umbrella Parade, which starts from Langmoor Gardens at 10.30am on Saturday and the ever popular Vespers service at St Michael’s Church at 6pm on Sunday evening.

Local brewers are brewing up a storm at the Marine Theatre so that our jazz fans can quench their thirst as the bands and the sun turn up the heat, while tables are booking up fast for pre and post gig dining at By the Bay – especially for Saturday 26 May when the Zoe Schwarz and Rob Koral Jazz & Blues Duo are playing live at By the Bay from 7.30pm and on Sunday 27 May when Jabbo Five are also live at By the Bay from 4pm.
